Annotation and Social Collaboration in User Interface Usage

Description: This diagram is draft and anedoctal to ilustrate a scenario. There is a time line presented on the left, and each of the 4 faces at the top are to represent states in time. Each state is also an user that has an application ( in the illustrated case it is Firefox ). In each state it is possible to realize that the user has added extensions and has caused mutation ( intentional from the perspective of the end-user ) in its Firefox. User becomes more happy as the time goes. Then at the stage four there is an interesting condition. The user became sad. This illustrative scenario represents a case where this end-user has added so many extensions that the UI became unusable. The key message in the diagram is to present the importance of the social collaboration where multiple users can share their evaluation and usage experience in a collaborative environment to be able to identify the usage patterns, as in accessing an URI to an usage pattern. With collaborative annotation and unique identifiers in this scope, users could jump to scenarios and be able to quickly take advantage of previous experiences from trusted buddies. The condition 4 could be avoided if an user looks in this trusted network before installing the 4th step.
