Anedoctal diagram - Who feeds the Web

Description: This slide diagram was presented as part a presentation entitled Read, Write, and Recycle the Web by Marcio Galli at University of Sao Paulo, ICMC in 2007. The Timeline shows a perception of a entity that feeds the Web. It is presented that before 1990, the Web publishers were more like a "Who??" icon meaning that people had no idea about the real indentities feeding the Web. In other terms would be as saying that in general an end-user had no idea about the origin publisher. Then between 90-00 there is a bit more clear view. It's presented the Web identity icon as the "They" figure, a general understanding about the possible publishers and Web feeders. The big difference comes after 2000 with Blog movements where the I, the end-user, becomes part of the publishing cycle. And around late 2000 it is possible to understand the presence of the We identify which is a form combination of many I. This form is verified in social networks movements. The presence of the "We" forms a icon of an identity as well. And represents the beginning of the age of trusted identities in the Web and the power of distributed force to recycle applications, documents, information online.
